The traditional Astronomy Summer School, organized by the Ankara University Kreiken Observatory (AUKR) team since 2014, is held every year in June/July. Summer school is organized for second grade (5th, 6th and 7th grade) students. Within the scope of the summer school, it is aimed to develop the scientific curiosity, questioning and interpretation skills of the participants in general, starting from the interest in celestial bodies and astronomy events. In the summer school, the most basic and interesting information about astronomy subjects and telescopes is given through visual materials, workshops and interesting applications, while it is possible for the participants to accompany the scientific observations made at AUKR.
