Our observatory organizes “public day” once in a month. Besides, we prepare special educational activities for students of all levels, from primary schools to universities. Moreover, in rare celestial events like planet transitions or eclipses, our observatory arrange special activities to respond public interest. All the activities are being carried out by professional astronomers and the members of the Amateur Astronomy Research Club, (ASART) most of whom are students of Astronomy and Space Science Department in Ankara Univeristy. Popular activities organized in our observatory are being supported by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Techological Research Council of Turkey).
